New Looptastic looking amazing

Hopefully we should see the latest version of Looptastic in the next few days.

This is going to be a big change from the previous Looptastic, with a new mixer, loop retriggering, new playable effects, and more. In the new Looptastic the three mixer zones now stretch on the fly to fit the loops you add so icons don't pile up. The top of the screen shows the waveform of the loop you touched last; tapping on the waveform will retrigger it from that point.

SoundTrends have also added five new touchpad effects:

• Gate
• Bitcrusher
• Flanger
• Glitchy Repeater
• Delay.

You can assign the effects to each mixer zone independently, allowing you to flange just a vocal, for example. There's also a Hold button to lock in the last setting; that's the white spot you can see in the effects page screenshot below.


It looks like this is going to be a really good new app from SoundTrends. I hope to have more about it soon.
