For amiga i'd try "octamed" a fine tracker that kept me occupied throughout my teenage years! It's the main reason I hung on to my amiga so long..I may even have octamed on a disk in my attic I'll try and dig it out..it must be online somewhere though.

Just to follow up, Octamed for the amiga is freeware at vers1.03 and is available here.
