Rytmik Ultimate ... is coming to an iPad and 3DS near you
This is such great news, on the 10th of December Rytmik Ultimate will arrive on iOS! Brilliant! It's one of those apps that has made me want to get a 3DS, although I've never got around to getting one. Now that DS-10 has come to iOS (as the iDS-10) and as of the 10th, Rytmik Ultimate too, I think that I no longer need that 3DS. Maybe ...

Who knew! Korg brings the DS-10 to the iPhone in the KORG iDS-10!
Well that was a surprise, Korg brings us their new KORG iDS-10 for iPhone this morning! Originally on the DS and now moved over to iOS, this is a lovely little present for the 1st of December.

The Palm Sounds videos: Electroplankton
Electroplankton was one of those bits of software that took a really different direction and got people to think about music making in a different way than people had before. It brought music making to handhelds and it showed that you could do something that was not really a game and not really creating music in any serious or structured way and it could still be worth while and a valuable thing to do.
I think we have a lot to owe to apps like this one.
