I have a colleague who went through 4 units before he gave up on the thing. (I think the last unit now sits in the corner of his studio gathering dust). That's not good.
I'm just hoping my Korg nano pad will mesh well with imaschine when it comes for iOS. It would be a shame if they used proprietary connection only allow mikro to connect to the phone/iPad to control the app only.
Cross fingers that the app will be core midi compliant out of the gate and not have to hold petition to get the function added in future update.

Native Instruments will release Maschine Mikro on 1st October 2011 at a suggested retail price of $399/ 349 Euro. Get in!

What I really want is a maschine nano w/ nanokey/nanopad-esque form factor and weight (I travel a lot) :)
