Touchproducer uncovers more goodies in iOS 5

Well I knew that there had to be more good stuff coming from those 1500 new APIs in iOS5, and Touchproducer has started to uncover them. Here are just a few:
  • Support for lots of sample audio inputs and channel routing
  • Sequence creation
  • Multiprocessing for audio

That looks all nice, but what would be really great would be access to the file system (I know, I said it many times).

It doesn't even have to be complete access, it could be some sort of "shared documents" folder, which every apps can access.

- Users would have the ability to export or make backups of their files (projects files, presets, saved games, etc). This would be really handy when switching devices.

- Files would be accessible by every apps. A sample bank would be available to every samplers on the device. Users wouldn't be required to upload the same files inside different apps (Beatmaker could see Nanostudio's samples and vice-versa).

... still hoping after 5 revision of IOS...
