So I know the Tenori-On (hardware) has been really influential, but how does this software version stand out/differentiate itself beyond the myriad of other grid sequencers on the iOS. I have a several already (inc. Soundgrid and the brilliant little Grid Music) -- is there a compelling reason I should consider the TNR-i as well?
So theres no advanced mode, no user voices, no midi (without a computer) but is an exact copy of the original, except for the colours? (sorry for the rant)
but how does it work? anyone used it that owns an tnr-o and tnr-i?
Advanced mode let you choose any layer type for any layer.
So if you just want to use Score Mode (the standard grid mode way of programming) you could set all layers to that mode, instead of just layers 1-7 (the default setting).
Or if you wanted more than just one measely Bounce Mode (aka super happy fun mode!) layer you could set a few of them to do that (default bounce is only layer 14).

The 2.1 firmware update has also propagated to the Global T-O gateway now.

If you apply the update, you'll probably lose access to the Advanced Mode, so don't forget to reset it afterwards;

I can't find in the menu any information about two modes. Could you develop ?

is audiocopy supported to export audio to other apps? i don't see any mention of it, so i'm guessing no, but i'm hoping yes :-)
Nope, no ACP or any audio export whatsoever at this point.
aw oh well. I love the idea of having a tenori, but nanostudio is kind of the centerpiece of my productive workflow at the moment.
