Just to clarify - the Tenori-On doesn't work too well with the Tinysizer because it puts out sysex every time you press a button and that chokes the midi interface on the synth. Fine if I filter the sysex out, but that involves a computer in the chain which is not something I want in here.
Controls don't have to be midi - (battery powered?) C/V devices are probably more interesting to me.
you could do the midi mod for the monotron then use that as a controller via a portable midi keyboard?
