i think he's just attempting to whine about the ipad/universal binary version being prioritized behind the new effects/modular routing/16 channel update.
Considering that NS. Works just fine already on an iPad, I don't really know what all the fuss is about. Yes it could do with getting up to the same resolution as the iPad has, but then that's what you get if you decide not to use Objective-c.
I can see both sides of the argument. I never though I would end up saying this, but it appears that it is far easier to code using Windows than it is Apple. But that doesn't necessarily mean that programming on windows in the long run, is better.
I still would like to know what app Zebra considers as the yardstick on iOS. I also find it very interesting that the 'power users' are choosing to avoid iOS. I have a very strong vision where iOS is going, and how music creating apps fit in to its ecosystem. I'm going to write up about this soon in my own blog.
I'll just end by saying that I think that Matt needs to make a really basic stripped down version of NS (A Nanostudio "Player"?), which would be free, and could be used by everyone, including my 5 year old daughter! But more of that later. :)

Ask Matt why he hates the iPad.
lol.
loopstationzebra, why do you love your ipad so much that you are willing to dismiss every other existing technology available?
The ipad is not bad, but its no MPC... and its not even a computer.
Does MB 'hate' the iPad? Because I didn't or at least have never got that impression.
You don't seem to like many apps for the iPad, Zeb. If you had a 'yardstick', what would it be, and why? I'd like to hear your reasons. :)
