Flashdrive that can be used with your iPhone or iPad

I saw this at the Gadgeteer and thought it might be very useful in certain situations so I thought I'd post a link to it in case you were interested.

I'm hoping in a few years maybe dropbox or something comparable (preferably free) will render make flash drives go the way of the floppy disk.

You can also use the device as an flashdrive.

As long as there are people who'd rather not host their files on a corporate operated server there will be a need for offline storage.

@jg0 i hear ya, but given how porous security is on desktop OS's (both w7 and osx are guilty of this), the line between at-risk files on a PC and at-risk files on the dropbox server is starting to blur. If anything, at least dropbox has a vested interest in the privacy of my files.

Anyway, at least when it comes to moving music files around, my main concern is ease of use.

@Anonymous

The thing is security is just as porous with mobile OSes.

But I agree about the ease of use.
