I've yet to see anyone talk about patch editing, which is leading me to believe this is limited to just loops and presets. It would be nice if you could at least import synth patches from the PC, if they can't get a handle on sound design with the iPad.

i read that it's supposed to integrate directly into your DAW - that's certainly possible without patch support- but even basic midi implementation should suffice

it's funny - I always laughed at FLS in the pro audio scene, and chalked it up to bedroom dj's and Del's "everybody wants to be a producer, everybody wants to be an emcee"

then when I started utilizing the iOS for audio projects, I was dying for the power, flexibility, and most importantly speed and stability of a fruity loops type environment.

i'm excited about Fruity Loops- I think those IPAD users are going to have a much better experience- but there's no doubt that Fruitys reputation was taken into consideration and the goal was to top NanoStudio and Beatmaker as the full studio apps- and I think the brand alone is going to accomplish that.

Not happy about the price :-(

20$ is a little too much for an impulse purchase....I guess will have to wait and see what it's going to offer.
I was expecting it to be around the 9.99 range.
Yes,I am spoiled by the other app prices !!

Horizon synth launched today at $4.99, quite a bargain for top quality, especially compared to the Korg apps, and MiniSynthPro and Nlog Synth Pro, not to mention this app.

We shall see.

ok.....not a revolution.....
i don t like some instruments, piano is so bad...

i think, garageband is a revolution, ok its not amazing !!! don t have midi import and export, but....

i m gonna play a litle more to see..

All this softwares are amazing, if you think that they are made to play in a mobile os, but, they need to growup a litle more to replace desk verssions...i think that they are a complement to original..

Way tooo overprice, and there is no way projects can be used on a mac.
apparently you have to stop play back to edit and stuff like that, killing the vibe, I always thought it was shit.

How much is garage band?

I'm not getting how this is much different to Xewton Music Studio, aside from a drum step editor and a different look. Someone enlighten me!
