Each of these three tracks have a wonderful & futuristic Detroit lo-fi sound about them- it's really lovely. In many ways Michael has unexpectedly placed himself right within the creme-a-la-creme of the original Detroit masters (Model 500, Rhythm is Rhythm, 69 etc etc)- Michael's unique sound being this gorgeous 4-bit resolution coming from Grid Music. Great stuff indeed!
My fave track on the EP is "Triangle Net". I love that track! :)
Come to think of it, Triangle net sounds somewhere between a jam off Harmonia's Live 1974 LP and another track from ex-Pyschic Warriors Ov Gaia (remember them?!) member Robert Heynen who did a brilliant LP that no one has ever heard, under the name of "Exquisite Corpse"
So there you go! (And you thought that the spirit of John Peel was dead?)
