Interesting that Yamaha have chosen to enter the iPad market in a very different way to other manufacturers. Their StageMix app will be released at PLASA2010 and can be used with their M7CL48-ES digital mixing console, it allows audio engineers to wirelessly mix onstage sound, taking most of the labour-intensiveness and guesswork out of the process.
So this isn't an iPad app for the mass market really and I doubt I'll be getting it, but it is interesting. You can read the detail here.
