@doctor popular : At first I thought it was Synthi-A, a great freeware Cynthi softsynth (http://freemusicsoftware.org/1779). The screenshot looks like it, but there's something different at the bottom of this one.
Using the idevices with external controllers must be really nice, ... but right now I find its too much trouble to setup with all the blocks Apple put in the way... plus who knows for how long it would work until Apple changes something (like the iphone4's new connector breaking compatibily with everything, including the AKAI contoller coming out next month).
I'm still mad at them for removing the home button double-tap volume function. Changing the volume has become a chore since then.

Is that an EMS Synthi? Woah, what an awesome soft synth app that would make for the iPad. Especially with external controls.
