There are pretty few iphone apps that give a decent guitar sound. This one sounds pretty average. I do appreciate that they are trying something different but perhaps they need to up the quality of their samples to get a more realistic (or at least less choppy) sound. Compare this to something like the JR Zendrix instrument in thumbjam to see the difference on quality that better samples can give to an instrument. I play guitar myself and prefer to send the sound into the iphone and use effects apps, Jasuto or voiceband to get interesting sounds. By the way theres a decent new effects app released today called RIOTFX - its got the usual stuff plus an auto-wah effect and is pretty decent compared to others in its type.

This is dreadful. My 4 year old daughter is making better music in iShred!
This was just a quick sequencer test. The guitar sound is not tweaked yet, it will be better.
