Well, it has taken a while, but here it is. My first attempt at the app directory. I'm sure that there are lots of missing links and apps that aren't there that you think should be.
Please comment them into this post and I will update and add stuff as soon as I can.
I hope it is useful! Please do give me some feedback on it too.

thanks for this, just having a look now. it'd be nice to have it sorted by some sort of popularity (or in order of recently updated?)
it has made me mor aware of bebot which i'd previously written off as a novelty, so theres an extra sale generated already!

I agree with RogB though. I don't know if it is easy to implement, but it would be great if we could vote apps up or down. That way the list would be always sorted by popular preference.
I am looking into the voting thing and plan to do something on recently updated apps
