Macally ivoice III mic still does not work. Actually, I was able to record a few seconds with it before I got a message saying, "This accessory is not supported by this iPod."
My guess is that it was never officially supported for iPod Touch (g1) and that even though it works, it has been blacklisted by Apple, perhaps because of licensing. Lame.
