You can do the same thing for recording on the Nokia N95, though the ground and mic connections are swapped.
I don't know if this works with the 1st gen iphone since it has the recessed audio jack. Can anybody confirm or deny if this will work with this model?
I made exactly this cable for my Loox720 a few months bac to use with StompBox and MeTeoR. My soldering a are a bit iffy though. I also bought a 4-pole 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter to use it with my Glofiish x500 WM phone. Works a treat.
