Synthpond is pretty innovative. If it had midi output it would be even cooler.
Personally, I'd say that this list is a little conservative. Personally I'd add RJDJ (iPhone), as RJDJ probably the closest any sane person will ever come to experiencing paranoid schizophrenia! You can also write your own 'singles' using multiplatform software. Now how cool is that eh?
RJDJ and SynthPond should both be candidates.
