I've had a bit of time to check out the new features of Beatmaker 1.3. So far I've been really impressed by what Intua have done.
The new pitch sequencer works very well, and adds a new dimension to the whole app and gives it more true DAW functionality. Coupled with audio recording (which I haven't tried as yet) it steps up the calibre of the app in a big way.
The other new piece of functionality is the cross controller, which I've really enjoyed. I know in many ways it is just an XY pad, but it has been implemented well and it does make BeatMaker more performance orientated.
When I've done some more with this I'll post again on it.
