Electri6ity + Thumbjam (TEST ONLY)
Here is the setup:
iPad 1 - CHORDS: Thumbjam sending midi to VST program Tonespace 2 where every note in the scale in plays a chord in Tonespace, midi out to Electri6ity to Podfarm 2. Volume active on the x axis in TJ and thus in Electri6ity playing at lower volumes singles to play muted notes.
iPod - SOLO GUITAR: Thumbjam sending midi to Electrici6ity to Podfarm 2.
Future setup will include control switches to change play styles (legato, trills, hammer ons etc) on solo guitar. Current setup here is only poly mode muted to sustain.
OraisonLight for iPad
This is the 'lite' version of a previously released app by almost the same name, Oraison, which is priced at $9.99. The free version is described as:
OraisonLight is a music software application that allows you to download sounds directly from freesound.org and arrange them in the application's step sequencer and sample timeline components. Additionally, it contains an example interface which allows you to control an Ableton Live program and shows how the full version of the application can be used to control any digital audio workstation with MIDI or OSC messages.
The interesting thing is being able to directly access sounds from freesound.org which is a fantastic resource of field recordings and sounds.

Vinclaro bring a new non-music app to the iPad
Non-music indeed, but still very creative though. Sketchasy brings pressure sensitivity to iPad drawing, which sounds amazing (no pun intended).

Going over some old ground
I'd love to be surprised and suddenly find that Android was going to make huge leaps forward in mobile music making, but so far it hasn't happened. I'm hoping it does though.
