Any suggestions for how the weekly round up could be better?
So, what could I do better on the weekly round up? Do you have any suggestions? Anything that really annoys you? Or, is it just totally amazing already? Whichever it is, please let me know.
Simple -- post a pic (not a video), a link to app & what OS it runs on, copy # of stars from it's relative Appstore (ie customer reviews), give it your own rating (if you want), put some 'tags' on it like "pro app, play app, synth, DAW, noise, toy, soundbus compatible," etc, and put them in order of how important it is we look into these things.
What might happen is people might use your page more as a 'quick roundup' to know what's really going on. A monthly recap & a yearly recap could also go with that.
Might seem like a hassle for you, but some people want an intermediary filter between them and all the overwhelming 'info-flow'.
Another idea -- have your viewers vote on what's most important each week of what's new.
As for me, I'm curious about all devices in a way, but when lightly perusing your site for "hey, what is the coolest thing I might've missed?" that's your chance to shine.
Maybe you could have a *MOST RECOMMEND* column, or tag, which might let occasional readers like me 'drill down' to the goodies?
