Beat Phase (small square dots near the beatmaps) indicate every even beat. Thus, you are able to distinguish between the odd and even beats visually, making Visual Mixing even easier. Set a cue point, to override the default beat phase suggestion.

This app really does nothing for me. The interface colour scheme is a typical Amidio affair, the positioning of features could do with more thought and the concept of 'visual mixing' would be fine if the bpm analysis, waveform display and beat grids all matched nicely - which they don't...even after a 40s track load time! Once the track has finally loaded, you will probably find the audio glitches and the waveform display has blanks - not great for mixing (visual or otherwise!). Still not sure why they decided to drop the split audio mode which was present on Touch DJ2 though.
