Tabletop: all effects are now a buck each!

From the lovely people at Retronyms:

Thanks for making the Tabletop release such a success. In celebration, we're extending the launch promotion – all effects are now a buck each!

Note to early adopters: If you bought effects before this promotion, ping us at contact@retronyms.com or Facebook and we'll hook you up with deals on future devices.

Not seeing the updated prices? Give it a few minutes. It can take Apple's servers some time to update everywhere.

Now that's what I call responding to user feedback!

Cool, I snagged em :)

Got 'em! Wish the 4-channel mixer was on sale, too, but this is still very generous!

You got me into the in app store. Appreciate the offer, thank you. Hoping my music won't suffer now as it drips with repitition. Any chance of a promo code for your mixer after I proof read it's guide ;-). Thoroughly enjoying your app, well done all round. Pleased you are getting an appropriate number of sales too.

Sweet. Now I want to get some work done! I was wanting to get the delay since the first day. Know I can get them all!

This is how you do it. Thanks retronyms.

I don't get it?

Why are you so happy about something and pay big money for s€€tty effects, crackling sound...?

Nice they sell effects for discount prices, but don't you see the greed behind all this....

You can get all this and way more for free...You only need good old "Flash" on your mobile...tztz...

Have fun...

For me, the concept had merit, but the modules that came with the initial $5 purchase were pretty awful. The synth was woefully useless, as was the sequencer. Bare-bones, feature-wise. I reckon the dev thought the concept alone was worth the asking price, because if they really gave a crap about their customer base, a LOT more love would have gone into those core-pack instruments.

At this point, I'm too turned off to upgrade at ANY price point.

Did anyone had the chance to try Audiotool with Frash on a jailbroken ipad?

audiotool is wonderful but a) not available to most ios users b) not optimized for the ipad

One other thing to appreciate about tabletop is how every single control is automatable... that makes otherwise limited sound modules incredibly powerful.

e.g. - so the synth module by itself is kindof shitty, but if you're gating it through a mixer and and splitting and recombining the signal into filters and delays (admittedly you need the send mixer to do this well), you can get a lot of sonic mileage out of an otherwise ugly tone.

"b) not optimized for the ipad"

This is bull, I use Audiotools throught Splashtop and it works fairly well, even with the lag introduced by the remote desktop.

I didn't say it's unusable, I said it's not optimized for it.

There are nice interface tweaks - for example I can press a button at the edge of the screen to switch to the next workspace. Some people may not care, but overall it makes for a different interface experience.

Re: IAP's. If I have 2 iPads, do I have to buy them twice?

"Re: IAP's. If I have 2 iPads, do I have to buy them twice?"

They should be tied to your Apple ID not the device, just like buying an app on an iPhone and using it on your iPad as well.

@ Keith. You are wrong. I bought them on 1 ipad, but they don't appear on the other. Fail. Also, performance is rubbish on ipad1.
