Kawai has developed this iOS camera app that scans music manuscript and plays it back in real-time. Kawai claims that the app also works with handwritten notes, those printed in different colors and under weak lighting.
The app is only available in Japan at the moment, but hopefully it'll come to the rest of us in good time. Now all we need is for it to export to MIDI!

Sweet! I wonder if it can save what it reads as a MIDI file....
I wish this video would have actually DEMONSTRATED the app!
