We get great apps like rhythm studio, table top,DM-1,ect.
It's going to push the envelop developers must meet to get their apps sold.
Meaning,it might take a special feature or design element to make an app worth buying.
With so many great app out:
What makes your app special? What can your app do for users that no other app can do? If you answered nothing to these vital questions then the answer to "how much $ will your app bring?" might follow the same answer as the above questions.
Then again it might not be just about money. It could be about passion.
If that's the case. And that's the answer you tell yourself, you have to look at the price you set.
If it truly isn't about the money and all about getting your app out to the people then perhaps letting the app go as a 'free' buy would get the needed momentum an app needs to make it's place in the store. Selling an app for free is a great way to develop a following of fans and a user base. If you create these fans then they will sell the app for you.
Later after you've updated and added to an already great start you can charge more. New users will see the great reviews the original 'fan base' set and also choose to adopt the app with new features at the new price.
