It's good to see Intua releasing updates so quickly now. They've also been posting a lot more on their forum. Hopefully this helps them build a friendly user community akin to NanoStudio's.
@Anonymous: How does BM2 not take advantage of the screen size? Other than the effects selection screen that you mention, it's a pretty well done iPad app.
The download size is definitely annoying though. I wins they'd release the app with a small selection of kits and make the others free in-app purchases.

I really hope this update makes my berhinger interface work.
So far it works great in multitrack daw and meteor.
Stereo recording in beatmaker is what I've been waiting for!
Recording in io dock would be perfect. Dropbox import would be awesome but can wait till next update.

the ipad version of BM2 don't take trully advantage of the ipad screen size (take a look at the FX selection page... with those so tiny fx icons),
they released it to quickly just to "take an advantage" over nanostudio,
and now we learn they will release a second maintenance update ... because they released it so quickly that it is full of bugs
wich mean another 485 mo to donwload,
I was hurry to see ipad version of it, but now i just understand why blipinteractive take its time to release nanostudio ipad version,
Matt just take the time to release something that really take advantage of the ipad size.
