Some great rews from Amidio

Rather than leave this in the comments I thought I'd post it for all to see:

hey qmish, we will make a Hexatone VST/AU some time this year... among with Touch DJ Evolution, Noise.io XT, LoopJ, Mint.io, Cream.io, Futudrum & Noise Universe... (yes the plans for this year are great as always.. we even haven't announced some of these apps)

XTERIO is off sale because 1) it's way too experimental and few people liked it and 2) we are not doing games any longer. %) I can make it "free" for a couple of days, if you like

Would rather they sorted audio copy and paste on hexatone first, so I can use it... And not keep telling me they have when I email them then ignore me.. Won't buy another app from them till they sort it out. :(

I agree. I no longer trust these gushing pronouncements from Amidio. They rarely come to anything. I've long since dumped all of their apps from my phone.

I wish Amidio will in next products develop easy playing interfaces. Noise.Io is such a product while Hexatone isn't. When I played Hexatone my feeling was to make a 5.000 (too small) pieces puzzle and not playing music. I therefore let it down very quickly. Futuristic interfaces and new ways of playing other then classic synth keyboards are great ideas when keeping in mind we want playing music with, more than own a high tech alien visual application. I think we're going to see two different kind of music creation apps in the future : the classic keyboard configuration ones like Nlog, MegaSynth, Xenon and on the other side the new ways of playing, using completely new use of screen like Noise.Io, Radar Beats Pro for instance. Peronsaly I'm in favor of classic configuration that allow a newbie in music to understand how it works (a real synth) and to learn something when coming to controls, and that allow the confirmed musician to quickly find marks if coming from a real MiniMoog for instance. I also wish Amidio answered my emails but didn't, a company's contact with customers is important.

complex system of hexatone is what makes it drummachine for glitch and idm

about support - noise.io lite still couldnt load on ios 4 for example

It seems they are listening had this this morning

Hi again,

Sorry it took so long. Looks like the last update with copy/paste has been rejected by Apple back in September 2009. So the app isn't updated. I'm going to find out why and get back to you. Meanwhile we will make the update again

"So the app isn't updated. I'm going to find out why and get back to you."

It must be so fun to get rejected and having to find out the reasons by yourself.. Apple should at least have the courtesy to explain why it was rejected.

cant fault apple for there communication eh!
mind you im still a little skeptical.. seeing as though the app was updated in February 2010...

perhaps it was a typo!

... What kind of company doesn't bother to check if an update has been approved or not?! OMGuitar looks interesting, but why would I bother with a company that screws it's users around? Fiver says that they stop replying to emails again when they get this next app out...

their 10 dollar app never worked on my
ipod
never got updated
never got one reply to any email
they never answered questions on their forum
from others about why it didnt work
i will avoid anything that they produce

I agree, with Hatter: audio copypaste on Hexatone first please!
