I'm not sure I have the patience to climb the learning curve with this.. I understand the basics of synthesis but the UI is unintuitive and unfriendly. I take it that it'll be worthwhile persevering, I just don't have the patience right now!
On one hand, it is nice how Jasuto Pro is capable of generating such rich and unique sounds.. On the other hand, it is annoying how difficult it is to actually make music with it.
I'm definitely not the only one who ran into that problem. The community section of Jasuto Pro is filled with fascinating noises and little more.
I still appreciate the app for what it is... it might even dethrone Thumbjam and squeak its way into my top five.
I love jasuto too, but I agree its tricky to make songs with it.
It's hard to put my finger on any one reason, but I think the usability of the sequencer is part of the problem. The notes are just a bit too small for fingers. The parameter control at the bottom is just too tiny and somehow unresponsive to use well (I challenge anyone to try putting in a complex envelope into that thing).
Im also not sure if it's possible to sync recorded motions to measures, but that would be nice (if I didn't miss an obvious option here...)
I also find myself, manually disabling the spatial scaling a lot. Maybe it should be off by default, esp for pitch data.
Overall I love the concept, but yeah, I have trouble making productive use of it.

Is there anything this app can't do? (I mean sonically)
Just using it as a vocal filter it's a beast. The only thing I'd really like to see is a pitch filter.
I heart jasuto too. One small request- make the sequencer more red-green colorblind friendly (we are 10% of the male population)!
Can't wait for jasuto studio!!

Okay I've tracked down the manual.. I'll go and read it.
