Pete Cole posts on the progress of Mixtikl on Android which looks like it is very close indeed and then they'll move on to Symbian after that!
Coupled with the fact that the iPhone app is still on sale, and the 'Tweet My Mix' competition running this week there's lots of good Mixtikl 2 stuff right now!

D'yer know, I had big hopes for Mixtikl on iPhone. I even tried to work out how the hell to use it. But I find its interface so counterintuitive, that I've moved on (yet again). It's a sad state of affair that Pete Cole obviously thinks that it is better to get Mixtikl working on every single platform, rather than sticking to one and getting the interface to work really well- because come on, let's face it, Mixtikl's interface is bloated and stodgy, looking far too much like a throwback to some old Windose 95 application. What a shame.
Sorry you don't like it! There is only me writing it, and we *do* keep getting asked for Mixtikl on both Android and Symbian; can't do everything at once.... Anyways: we'll just keep plugging away, and see where we end up. :-D
Mixtikl was designed for use on both touchable and non-touchable devices, with a range of screen form factors; if we'd designed *solely* for iPhone, then the UI would be different (however, it has taken > 5/6/7 years to write, so that wasn't an option back when we started with miniMIXA!)
Tim and I have been creating our tools for > 15 years now, which shows that we do at least keep plugging away (we must be mad!)
Best wishes,
Pete
Pete,
I'm a newcomer to Mixtikl, but so far I've been enjoying using it.
