Mandala Music 2.0

A few people have mentioned this app to me in the past so I thought I post on it as it has been update to version 2.0 and has some really good new features:
  • New three-cascaded-oscillator dynamically-modulated FM synthesizer.
  • 24 preset sounds - from percussion to strings.
  • Over 72 million variations.
  • 33 scales can be tuned to any key - new display shows the notes of the scale.
  • Play the mandala or use the app to generate hypnotic random modal background melodies.

ATTENTION, i wouldn't buy this version of the app without any further updates. At the beginning and the end of every note played there's an audible and very annoying glitch that's louder than the sound itself! Which renders the app pretty much useless...

Ok, i checked this problem a little bit more and hooked the iPod to a mixer. The glitch at the end of the notes dissapeared when a cable is plugged in and you listen to the app through a PA. At the start of a sound it sometimes glitches a bit but dissapears when you adjust the amp.attack to at least medium. But unplugged the problem remains as i described before with many of the sounds.

Version 2.1 returned to original percussion-style synthesizer and original sounds. Can change the decay, modulation index, frequency ratio, and pitch of a sound. Much better!
