We've not had an update to PianoFly for some time now, but I have been in touch with miniMusic and there's more to look forward to from them in 2010.
I just couldn't have a top set of iPhone music apps without a miniMusic app in there, and Pianofly is a good solid synth app. In terms of the heritage of pianofly it comes from the previous miniMusic palm app SoundPad, which was completely ground breaking when it came out.
I still use Pianofly on occasion and it makes great FM sounds. I hope that we'll see updates and more apps from miniMusic in 2010.
