Thanks to Nimlet and Robman for the link to this blog.
As you can see, YUDO are look at adding effects and instruments to RecTools08, which is great. As I can't speak or read Japanese I can't tell you what it says, but it does look good, and I hope we don't have to wait too long to see it in action.
I'm hoping that they'll at least get the effects and audio file import into the next version. I think that would be a great next step.
