One of the things that really bothers me is how bad the battery life is on the iPhone. I really hope that in the 3.0 update Apple can do something about this, as it is really poor.

I don't have too much of a problem with the battery life. Have you tried turning down the display brightness? This usually helps prolong the life quite a lot. There are other things you can do to. I've also noticed that if you don't quit and exit, and start another application from Jasuto, the app keeps claiming battery drain. (I've emailed Chris on this btw). Failing all that, try the Mophie Juice Pack, which looks good! :¬)

I hadn't tried the brightness, that's a good tip.
