I'm really sorry about this. But we can work it out. Please contact me either through the form on the http://xynthesizr.com or through the feedback form in the app.
I admit I've made a big mistake overlooking the fact that there may be users who have bought the current version specifically because of my early claim. But I didn't mean to rip off or annoy anybody.
My main concern was that making the app universal practically requires keeping the feature set consistent across iPhone and iPad platforms, which may happen to be hard to do while keeping usability at a good level considering iPhone's small screen size. Especially when the established Xynthesizr main UI layout is a large grid and a short toolbar.

You know what? I feel ripped off- I bought the current version after all the talk of an upgrade to iPad in a future release.

Me too, difference is you can't buy me off.

That being said, I am reconsidering my choice.
