Something that occurred to me the other day. Apple gave developers the ability to use IAPs in their apps, but there's no equivalent in the OS itself.
Now, you might be wondering why you'd have an IAP in the OS itself? Good question, but wouldn't it be interesting to see the OS extended? How about an OS based IAP for iOS to enhance the music making facilities?
Is it just a strange idea? Tell me what you think.

Sorry but this sounds like a bad idea to me, it would fragment the user base, and apps. There would be apps that use the IAP functionality add-ons vs apps that don't, I think it would be a great cause of confusion and support headaches for developers. So far Apple has given us any new features it adds, and for free.
