Apple is great and everything, but I doubt they just threw this new feature together in 24 hours to rival Google's pathetic web based "marketplace"... :)
The rating filter is a stupid idea. What happens when you get a lower rating, because of some A-hole who just happens to be in a bad mood, or who doesn't know what he/she is doing? Then your app isn't selected, even if it is good. Apple Fail imo.

Too right! The implementation of the app store on iPad was very very poor and extremely annoying. Hooray.

That one instance versus 10,000 crap apps that deserve low ratings because they totally suck. Filters FTW.
