Catchy tune, huh? Nice hook. Overly compressed and radio ready. Cute video production. Neatly wrapped up like a Target commercial.

But I fear we have stepped back to the 70s when drum machines came out, and everyone used them for their tracks. M e c h a n i c a l. S o u l e s s.

Want to see what I can do with just two fingers?

@Grumpy Tank, For Ellen's original music material she will use real organic/acoustic instruments since she is going with the singer-songwriter / indie-pop route...

The videos came from my plea to justify the iTunes bill at the end of the month :-)

Let's combine my obsession with apps with her musicianship... it'll be fun...

I had to convince everyone that you could get some acceptable material out of the iOS devices

Result: iTunes budget extended ;-) **rubs hands***

I think it is great.

I mean, since when has expression or dynamism been a value of pop music?

I think apps and pop music go together super well.

Really, I would've like to come up with that one :D, it describes so many clips on youtube.

There used to be a time when people would be ashamed to show themselves doing nothing on camera.. not anymore!! (I'm not talking about this clip here)

They deserve credit for putting something out there to share, I don't see you posting links to your music.

So put up your better, "soulful" music or give it a rest already.

also if anyone's wondering why this scene is such a sausage fest, I think some of the jokes here make the it pretty clear.

All of them? I mean, I do give credits to the one who deserves it, but there's no way I can just give credits to someone just because they have put something on youtube (again, not talking about the video posted in this article).

Who's to say I didn't? I just didn't associate my music with my name Johnnyg0, since you don't even use a name when you post here, I guess you understand that.

And who are you to say I, or anyone else, should just shut up when they feel critical? Do you think it should be only allowed to poeple who works for magazines or tv stations?
