AmpKit might stand out in my list as a little unusual, but the reason I like it is unusual too. I posted a little while ago about using AmpKit for effects processing using files I've AudioCopied in from another app, and I'm finding this a really handy use of this app.
I especially like to be able to chain effects exactly the way I want them in AmpKit and then save the set up. I'm finding it very useful for experimentation.
So, not a standard use for an amp simulation app, but a good one in my book.

I use AmpKit for the exact same reason. I don't play guitar, but it's excellent for applying effects to samples I use in BM2. Hell, it even has a pedal that features a 10 band EQ. Good luck finding an app other than the $2.99 Equalizer app that has such an EQ! BM2 and iSequence only have 3 band EQs!
More iOS musicians need to check AmpKit out. It's for more than just guitarists!
anyone tried the tibor horvath fx's ?
compressor and reverb?
