More details of the iPod library are emerging. MultiTrack has been updated with library access which is working on the Touch 3rd gen, but not on my iPhone 3G running on iOS4.
If you've got this working on a 3GS running iOS4 or iPhone 4 I'd like to know what the library access is like.

Library access is like select files from a lost and import them in your apps. You cannot modify the library. So its one way only.
Still, its pretty dope for Mobile Hip-Hop freestyles. Load up your library, find an instrumental, and record the MC on a separate track for later editing into a mixtape.

So it will copy the .mp3 track to the app your using and let you modify the copied track?
