A few more bits and pieces today. A couple of good ones too. First off a VL-5 with barcode reader although the description says that there may be a fault with it. I seem to remember reading that the reader only works with the song book so you can't use it to scan barcodes off random objects and turn them into music. Shame really.
A QY20 going very cheap at the moment.
and lastly a Tascam DP-008 for quiet a reasonable price although I expect these will keep coming down in price over time. I still fancy getting one of these but can't really justify it as I have both StudioTrack and MultiTrack on my iPhone / iPad.

But the multitrack is only as good as the inputs available!! iDevice input functionality (especially for the electronic musician)is, in a word, ass. I have the DP-008 and I love it, because it makes life simple for overdubbing multiple tracks from iDevice source apps.
Good point. Just can't justify the cost of one at the moment.
I think if I had the money lying around (as if!) I'd get one straight away
Got mine for $200, NIB. It was a great steal, because the device REEKS quality. I had an old PortaStudio back in the 90's, and this device really apes the original layout. SOOOO easy to work with.
