yeah that belkin rockstar works well as a passive mixer; have tried with 3 different inputs at same time and works well (each additional input reduces volume)
ive got 2 belkin rockstar's now, one for home and one for work. I usually have more than one pc and other sound devices so swapping headphone cables is a chore, this way i just plug them all into one device. I think they are great, and well worth the low price!

It looks like he's using this splitter as a mixer: http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-RockStar-3-5-mm-Headphone-Splitter/dp/B0017PG8KS
Is that right?
I'd love to hear more about how well that's working? Maybe for $9, I should just try it out myself...
