MacRumors has this rumour that Palm is now up for sale.
This isn't a big surprise as they've been in trouble for a while and webOS never really took off. I think it is a shame that they decided to dump a good OS to make a new one that's failed, and dump all their customers at the same time.

Pretty much everything that happened to Palm in the last 10 years is a shame. From how they got separated in two distinct companies (one for the hardware, one for the OS), to how little marketing they did for the pre.
my everyday device is a Palm Tungsten T5 and a TX.
