Processing on the web has been developing for a while, and this post over at
Make asks if it could be a viable. I really hope it is.
One of the things I think that the whole iPhone OS platform is lacking is a way to make your own apps / applets right on the device. This is something that has been around for ages on old Palm and old Windows Mobile, and people like it. Why not on the iPhone / Touch / iPad?

there's javascript, though it's a bit fiddly because you need an app that can view and edit html, and doesn't intercept every tap to bring up its control palette.
Its should be possible to write a little js based interpreter for a mini language like pilot-c and do it all as a web app.
