That would be great. The dock connector as it is has great potential to allow multiple sources of input. The 30 connections have been mapped and its only a matter of wiring up your input in the right way. The snag is that the connectors are not commercially available for hobbyists. You can, of course, buy a commercial USB dock connector and tear it apart but in most cases the pins are too short for easy soldering. I will be interested to see whether the stereo line in will be useable through the camera kit, particularly since the blue mikey stereo microphone seems to have problems with the current dock setup.
