Why is it that Apple won't let UK App Store users accept promo codes from developers? Have I missed something? Did this get updated a while back or is it just as it was when Apple brought in promo codes?
I take it you got a code from Chad too then! I briefly changed my location in iTunes on my PC (luckily I have a US address too), applied the code and got the app. Unfortunately when back on the UK store it is convinced i don't own it so I can't provide a review!
It's really very very inconvenient. Moreover, the entire winter US promo codes were unavailable to non-US developers, putting us back. Now they restored this ability, but we still have to mess with the buggy adhoc system to give apps to non-US users :(
I don't understand why there are so many loose ends with app store, like the whole issue of codes not being available outside the US. It seems really strange and not thought through.

Well done Apple.
Sadly I don't have a US address so I ended up buying it, but never mind. I must get around to doing some reviews of the stuff I've bought.
