Ashley, do you really think, it is worth to be bought?!
It looks so... I don't know, but it does nothing, that my iPad (maybe) with additional hardware like my KORG nanos , can't do (even better)?! Or is it the style factor?!
Reading the technical specs, it looks so damn limited!
You make a good point. I think it's fair to say that probably an iPad with a bunch of apps might be a powerful combination.
However, I do like bespoke hardware.
Also, I think that there's a lot to be said for people doing something innovative like this. Doing something different and trying to produce a new platform.
That's something that isn't easy to pull off at all.
Innovative hardware is always welcome and I am happy to receive any information on new (more or less) mobile 'gadgets' here on palmsounds.
I am very excited on how the kdj-one will perform on kickstarter! I am still struggling... as I said, it looks a little bit limited... but quite interesting, though. Everything I need incl. keyboard, touchscreen, knobs and dials in one 'housing' (hope it is the right word)... and it is recommended by Sid Wilson ;) I guess it will depend on it's price if it get's my support on kickstarter. I think I heard something like 800 USD and hope that that is bogus.
