It's that time again, the weekly round up is here

Firstly, I'd like to say a thank you to the people who responded to my questions around having an email version of this post every week. I will be looking into that and I'll try and find the simplest way to do it. Of course if you have any suggestions they'll be very welcome indeed.

So, on with the round up ...

Let's start with the big news:

• Not only was it the first anniversary of Audiobus on the apps store, but they published the teaser video of Audiobus 2, plus some great screenshots of what's to come here, here, here, and here. Also there's this round up of the features that are coming in version 2.

New apps:

• Vocaform 2 arrives as a new app with MIDI and lots more
• Chordy arrives, a new iPad chord player
• BEATUM arrives, a fun looking sequencer
• MidiBus arrives
• Prophet 08 editor arrives for your iPad

Significant app updates:

• Virtual ANS version 2.1 has a lot going for it
• Meteor 2 arrives with loads of new things
• WeJaam brings community to their app
• Grantophone 2 arrives
• Gestrument LE goes universal and more
• Music Studio brings a lot of new instruments in version 2.4
• Audulus 2.5 brings custom nodes and a sale
• Crystal XT brings cloud patch management
• Nanoloop brings a massive update to iOS
• After 4 years of no updates Thump gets some love and we hope for me

Things that might be on the way ...

• Svärm is coming from HumbleTune, hopefully in time for Christmas
• Something new from iMIDIPatchBay?
• Probably much longer term, but good to know that Jasuto Studio is still on the cards
• Orphion's little brother is coming soon I hope
• Electrify NXT is looking very good and I hope we see it before the end of the year

So, a big week really. I'm guessing that things will start to quiet down in the final run up to the Christmas season, but we'll see.
