This week on Digital Music Trends I had the pleasure to welcome Glenn Peoples (Billboard), Darren Hemmings (Motive Unknown) and Michael Roffman (Consequence of Sound). We chat about Beyoncé's surprise album release and its potential impact on the industry, discuss the news stories that influenced 2013 and may also be relevant through 2014 and finally talk about the future of innovation for music apps and services using the iTunes best-of 2013 list as a springboard.

Quite how we managed to stretch these three subjects to well over 1h 10minutes is beyond me but it was a really fun show - you'll have to tune in to figure it out!!

This is the last news show for 2013 but there will be a couple of specials coming in the next two of weeks: an interview with The Echo Nest's CEO and a "DMT around the world in 2013" with some of the best interviews I recorded this year so look out for them!
