I don't think these sorts of high-end Eigenwannabes are really suited to being iPhone-socketed peripherals. At the speed with which Apple deprecates their hardware, the iPhone you fit into it this year won't be able to run the latest apps in 4.
The price will be right for stage performers, but the average Joe app musician would be pissing money away.
