TeaSound, the Freesound client for iPad, although it isn't free (as Freesound is).
Freesound is the largest online repository of permissively licensed audio. TeaSound helps you search and collect audio from Freesound. Great for foley sounds for movies, samples and loops for song production, any all kinds of other projects!
TeaSound currently requires a free Dropbox account for collecting audio. When you find a sound you like you can save it to your Dropbox, where it will be instantly synced to your Mac or PC.
All the sounds you'll find using TeaSound are licensed under a Creative Commons License, and are available for use in your project!

When will this be in the US store?
Unfortunately it is not available in the e. g. German store. It told me it is available in the UK store instead. Do you know if they'll put it on other stores as well?

I emailed the developer, he said it's coming out in early February, but was released to the store by mistake for a day.
I emailed the Dev and he said he is releasing it at the beginning of February and that he had forgot to change when it would launch In the store and it was available for a few hours. I got a promo code for the current version for having the same name as the Dev and showing interest. It works great and ill post more impressions after I mess with it
